The Nets will play the league’s best team two nights in a row.
The Brooklyn Nets and Boston Celtics play against each other, and both teams play home games. The first game is at Barclays Center and the Nets could get a boost from the home crowd against the league’s best team.
This will be a tough matchup for the Nets, as the Celtics are miles ahead of any team in the league with a 41-12 record. Brooklyn lost to Boston twice in November, but this is their chance for revenge.

The Nets are in a challenging game as the Celtics are dominant. Coach Joe Mazzulla has a strong team led by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Plus, the supporting cast is one of the best in the league as they have All-Star-caliber players like Derrick White, Jrue Holiday, and Kristaps Porzingis.
Although the Latvian will miss due to injury, the Celtics still have reliable Al Horford to hold down the frontcourt. There is limited depth in the frontcourt for Boston at the moment, which could be an area the Nets could take advantage of with the aggressive play of Nic Claxton and the recent progress of returning De’Ron Sharp.
Brooklyn has good momentum heading into this game after an impressive win over the Spurs in the last game. Dennis Schroder felt comfortable being the primary playmaker off the bench, fueling coach Jack Vaughn’s team’s ball movement-focused attack.
In addition to Schroder’s extraordinary performance against the Spurs, Nets fans hope that Cameron Thomas and Mikal Bridges will continue their hot shooting. As long as they keep hitting shots, Brooklyn can win this game.

The Nets are getting healthier with each game, as there is only one injury report for Cameron Johnson. Deron Sharp and Dorian Finney-Smith have fully recovered, adding to the Nets’ depth. It will be interesting how Coach Vaughn changes the starting lineup as he is committed to starting Thomas these days.
Boston is dealing with some injuries as Jaden Springer and recently acquired Xavier Tillman are out of the game. Porzingis is questionable for this game due to a lower back injury.
This will be a fun game for both teams, but Boston is the favorite. However, the Nets are on the rise due to impressive performances in almost every game.
