Who is the moderator of the debate?
The debate will be moderated by Linsey Davis and David Muir.
As managing editor and anchor of World News Tonight, Mr. Muir is undoubtedly one of the most well-known journalists in the United States. Since 2015, His World News Tonight with David Muir has ranked as the US’s most watched news program.

Only the candidates whose turn it is to speak will have a live microphone during the discussion, and only the moderators will be able to ask questions.
There won’t be any introductory remarks, and each candidate will have two minutes for final remarks.
What is the debate’s format?
The debate’s structure is still unknown. Both parties agreed on the arrangement for the most recent presidential debate between Trump and Biden, which included time limits for speakers, no live audience, and microphones that were turned off to give the candidates uninterrupted time to speak.
It was a deviation from precedent that Mr. Biden’s team particularly requested—the absence of an audience.
The president was “supposedly afraid of crowds,” according to Trump, who also declared that he preferred a live audience because “it’s just more exciting.”
The Biden team also requested that the candidates’ microphones be turned off while the other talked. This came after the first 2020 forum, where the candidates’ constant interruptions and cutting-across of the discussion plagued the discussion.
The debate is taking place where?
The discussion will take place at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The wars in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and the economy will probably receive a lot of attention.
The Harris campaign is eager to spread the word on women’s access to abortions, which they see as a crucial platform for winning the presidency on November 5.
Trump is probably going to criticize Ms. Harris for the record of the Biden-Harris administration, especially with regard to inflation and immigration.
What the contenders have stated regarding the announcement of the debate
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Ms. Harris expressed her satisfaction that Trump “has finally committed” to debate her on September 10, the day her campaign has always maintained as the original schedule for a Trump-Mr. Biden debate.
“I hope he shows up, I’m looking forward to it,” she remarked.
Trump has maintained that Ms. Harris lacks the intelligence to engage in a debate with him.
