Iran had also carried out a similar attack on January 16. After this, the Iranian army attacked Balochistan with missiles and drones. The very next day, Pakistan retaliated by launching an airstrike on Iran from a distance of 48 kilometers. Four days later, on January 20, both countries agreed to reduce tensions.

Iran had said it had only attacked terrorist targets
Iran attacked Balochistan in Pakistan. Jaish al-Adal terrorist organization bases in Pakistan were said to have been targeted. After this, Iran’s Foreign Minister, Amir Abdullahiyan, held a phone discussion with Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Jalil Abbas Jilani.
