NEET Admit Card 2024: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for the medical entrance exam NEET UG exam. Students appearing for the NEET exam can download them by visiting the official website neet.ntaonline.in or exam.nta.ac.in/NEET/ or by clicking on the direct link given below. The admit card contains the correct address of the exam center, exam timings, reporting time and other guidelines including dress code. Students are advised to download the admit card and appear for the exam as per the guidelines. Earlier, NTA had released the NEET exam city slip. NEET candidates got to know in which city their exam is. The exam will be conducted in offline (pen and paper) mode in about 571 cities across the country and 14 cities outside the country.
NEET UG exam will be conducted on 5 May 2024 from 2 pm to 5.20 pm in pen paper mode. NEET result will be declared on 14 June 2024. NEET is the only medium through which admission is given in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and other various undergraduate medical courses in various medical colleges of the country. Apart from this, candidates of Military Nursing Service (MNS) will also be able to take admission in BSc Nursing course of Armed Forces Medical Services Hospital through NEET UG exam marks. How to download NEET Admit Card 2024
- First of all go to neet.ntaonline.in. – Click on the link Click here for Admit Card. – When the admit card page opens, enter your application number, date of birth and security pin. On submitting, your admit card will appear.
- NEET Dress Code
- As per the NEET UG dress code guidelines released by NTA, candidates should avoid wearing heavy clothes, long sleeves. However, if candidates are wearing cultural or traditional attire, they are advised to report at the exam centre for checking at least one hour before the reporting time i.e. before 12.30 pm. Students are not allowed to wear shoes. They are only allowed to wear slippers or sandals.
- A total of 23,81,833 candidates have registered for the NEET UG exam this year. These include over 10 lakh male and over 13 lakh female candidates. Apart from this, 24 have registered under the third gender category. Out of the total registered students, over 10 lakh are from the OBC NCL category, 06 lakh from the general category, 3.5 lakh from the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, 1.8 lakh from the General-EWS category and 1.5 lakh from the Scheduled Tribe category. The exam will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode in 13 languages.
This year also, the NEET paper will have 720 marks. One question will be worth four marks. There will be negative markings. One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. In the four subjects of physics, chemistry, botany, and zoology, there will be 35 questions in section A and 15 questions in section B. Any 10 questions out of 15 have to be answered. Carrying electronic gadgets is prohibited on the day of the examination.
