Uzbekistan roof collapse incident: Three Indian workers killed in tragic incident of roof collapse at a project site
30 people were injured in the firing that took place in Almalik, Uzbekistan on Tuesday.
Almalik, February 20 (ANI): Three Indian workers lost their lives while 30 were injured in a tragic roof collapse accident at a project site in the Uzbekistan town of Almalik on Tuesday, the Indian Embassy in Uzbekistan informed.
“We express our sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and wish the injured a speedy recovery,” the embassy said in a post on Twitter.
Embassy officials visited the scene and met with injured victims at Almalik City Hospital.
It also said, “We are in touch with the employing company and local authorities to ensure all possible assistance.”
The families of all the victims are being contacted by the employing company and the embassy. The embassy also said, “Our emergency contact number is +998 933875242.“
