Marci Callewaart, a photographer who lives in Clayoquot Sound, Canada, was walking her dogs on a Vancouver Island beach when she made a remarkable discovery.
The self-proclaimed “outdoor teacher” and “ecologist” was surprised to find his wallet washed up on a beach.
She had lost this wallet eight months earlier while she was sailing on a sunny day in June. Marcy had tried to recover her lost wallet by snorkelling and even hired a professional diver to find her wallet but to no avail. She was disappointed but somehow she hoped that the waves would bring the wallet back to the beach and finally on February 15, her wish was fulfilled.
Marcy shared the news on Instagram and wrote, “Yesterday, while walking the dogs, I found my wallet that fell off the boat 8 months ago! I had a diver come over, I went snorkeling to find it, and he There was nothing to be found. I hoped it would have remained nearby and that the winter wind and waves would bring it to the beach, and in the last few days, it finally washed away!”
She added, “Many people are bringing up the power of manifestation or attraction or even good deeds involving cleaning up our shorelines… Either way, I’m grateful to have it all back in my hands! I guess these ingredients are my new good luck charm!”
Marcy noted that her wallet was intact and its contents safe. She thanked Rains, an outdoor wear brand known for making waterproof products, and wrote, “I would love to thank Rains for making a product that holds up well for 8 months in the ocean! It looks like it “Could have done it one more time.” 8 months, no problem!”
In the comments, an Instagram user asked him, “How far did you drop your wallet and where did you find it?” In response, Marcy wrote, “I dropped it in the bay where our anchor is moored… about 100 meters from shore and maybe 20 feet deep? The tide was going out when it dropped so I was a little worried it would float away.” Went!”
Speaking to CBC News, Marcy recalled the moment she found her lost wallet and said, “I already had a feeling this was going to happen, but I’ve been looking for it for eight months. It was finally It was indescribable for this to happen.”
